Department Of Telecommunications (DoT) Recently Issues Instructions for All Internet Service Providers!

The Telecommunication Regulatory Authority of India and Department of Telecommunication has issued stricter norms for the Internet Service Providers of India in view of avoiding the increasing malicious threats and anti nation activities carried out using Wi-Fi networks.

Instructions:

-Service provider should ensure all Wi-Fi access points are encrypted & secured, at hotspot prime location

-Service providers are instructed to offer central authentication and tracking system to secure all Wi-Fi end points ensuring each user sessions is authorized and tracked regularly,

-Identity verification of each subscriber is mandatory and must be accomplished in the following ways,
